ISRO successfully launched the GSAT-7R (CMS-03) military communication satellite using the LVM3-M5 rocket from Sriharikota. The 4,410 kg satellite replaces the aging GSAT-7 (Rukmini) to provide dedicated secure communication for the Indian Navy.
