The Bharat Renewable Energy Summit & Expo (BRESE) 2026 is a flagship global platform and a major international clean energy event organized by the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE). It is an annual summit and expo designed to promote clean-energy investment and collaboration. The event is scheduled to take place from November 2–5, 2026, at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi.
The summit's purpose is to strengthen global cooperation, promote investment, and drive technological development in the renewable energy sector. It is positioned to help India in its goal of approaching 300 GW of non-fossil fuel capacity. The mechanism of the event involves bringing together stakeholders from the renewable-energy industry, finance, technology, and government for a four-day period. Key focus areas include Solar Energy, Energy Storage, Clean Technology, and Green Hydrogen.
BRESE 2026 is a consolidated platform, uniting the BRE Summit and Expo with the 9th ISA Assembly of the International Solar Alliance and the 4th International Conference on Green Hydrogen. This consolidation allows for a focus on policy, investment, and technology, particularly under the National Green Hydrogen Mission. The event connects directly to the MNRE and the scaling of the PM Surya Ghar scheme. The Government of Maharashtra will participate as a Partner State. The Prime Minister is expected to inaugurate the summit.
