Meri Fasal-Mera Byora (My Crop-My Details) is an online portal and a scheme launched by the Haryana Government in 2019. The scheme was initiated by Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar to create a correct digital record of farmers' crops and land, solving the problem of inaccurate data and ensuring transparent delivery of government benefits.
The core mechanism requires farmers in Haryana to register their details, including land records, crop type, area, and bank account number, on the portal. This registration is mandatory for availing multiple government facilities, including the sale of produce at the Minimum Support Price (MSP), receiving subsidies for seeds and agricultural equipment, and obtaining assistance during natural calamities. The scheme facilitates the direct transfer of financial benefits (DBT) to the farmers' bank accounts.
The portal is integrated with the e-Kharid portal for online procurement and is essential for accessing schemes like the Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana. A significant recent change occurred with the introduction of an Aadhaar-based biometric verification system in mandis in 2026, which is directly linked to the portal. This measure was implemented to prevent fraudulent procurement, specifically following the multi-crore Karnal paddy scam of 2025, by ensuring that the produce sold corresponds with the registered crop details. Furthermore, an amendment in January 2024 allowed farmers cultivating land with the owner's permission to receive an OTP for registration, addressing a procedural hurdle.
